To re-gain lost travelers, we supported a small alpine destination in Switzerland to revitalize existing and activate new tourism assets.
Value created for client
The various tourism stakeholders and service providers now have a step-by-step way forward to a renewed destination concept attracting new guest segments. The stakeholders can roll out the plan independently at their speed and are therefore not dependent on additional support.
Jointly in our consultant consortia, we have developed a tailored plan for the destination to revitalize its tourism assets. In a first step, we included gastronomy offers, mountain infrastructure, and various accommodation offers in this plan.
In the second step, we facilitated the communication between the stakeholders to find a common way forward and create endorsement from the local community and second homeowners.
In a third step, we were involved with raising money for the first step to get the execution started.
Today the first steps of our plan have been carried out and the destination is looking toward finding a suitable manager for the restaurant.
To attract a larger share of the leisure market during the pandemic, we supported the owners of this small city hotel to re-position it and to adapt selected marketing and distribution processes to cater better to that market
To equip (future) hoteliers with up to date tools and knowledge to operate their property efficiently in changing times, we developed training curriculums and gave trainings and workshops to a variety of audiences.
To deal with the performance downturn during the pandemic, we supported the owner of this city hotel with re-negotiating the lease terms laying the groundwork for an operator search for their city property
